Goku, the main character is also by far the strongest. He is a saiyan by blood (yet doesn't know it till the beginning of Dragonball Z) and had his tail cut off at a young age. Unlike most saiyans, he lost his hunger for destruction when he hit his head as a baby. His saiyan name is Kakarott.
